### Eligibility Criteria
#### 1. Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a regular, full-time degree from a recognized university. A minimum of **60% marks** is mandatory for General, EWS, and OBC (NCL) categories, and **55% marks** for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.
* **Engineering Fields:** B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engg.) in the relevant branch.
* **Systems:** First-class B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engg.) in Computer Science / IT / Computer Engineering, or a First-class graduate degree with an MCA.
* **Geology:** M.Sc / M.Tech in Geology, Applied Geology, Geophysics, or Applied Geophysics.
* **Final Year Eligibility:** Students in their final semester/year of the 2025–26 session can apply, provided their final results are declared on or before **August 31, 2026**.
#### 2. Upper Age Limit (As of April 30, 2026)
* **General / EWS:** 30 Years
* **OBC (Non-Creamy Layer):** 33 Years (3 years relaxation)
* **SC / ST:** 35 Years (5 years relaxation)
### Selection Methodology and Exam Pattern
Selection is based entirely on a standalone **Computer Based Test (CBT)** followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination. There is no personal interview round.
The 3-hour exam features 200 multiple-choice questions split into two parts:
* **Paper I (100 Marks):** General Knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and General English.
* **Paper II (100 Marks):** Discipline-specific Professional Knowledge.
* *Note:* There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
