Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Lecturer Recruitment 2026

Candidates wondering about the educational qualification for Punjab Lecturer Cadre Recruitment 2026 must have passed M.A. in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks and B.Ed with the teaching subject from a recognised university or institution as per UGC guidelines. They must also have studied the relevant subject as an elective in Graduation for a period of three years. SC/ST/OBC/BC and Physically Handicapped candidates are eligible with 50% marks in M.A. or Post-Graduation.

• M.A. in the concerned subject with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) from a recognised university, and

• B.Ed with the teaching subject from a recognised university/institution as per UGC guidelines, and

• Should have studied the relevant subject as an elective in Graduation for a period of three years.

Or any other equivalent qualification, provided a certificate of equivalency is issued by the recognised university as per UGC guidelines.

Age Limit
